OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY

Why did we want to breed wirehaired vizslas?

They are a beautiful, smart, and loving dog. We want to continue wirehaired Vizslas stately pedigrees and temperaments. We breed for health, temperament, hunting, and conformation ability. All of our dogs have their eyes and hips checked. They are certified free from hip dysplasia through the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) or European equivalent and DNA tested for hereditary diseases before we breed them. All our breeding dogs are free from allergies, arthritis, and temperament issues and meet AKC and FCI standards. Like our dogs, the litter will be registered through the AKC.

Puppies Health

The puppies will have their tails docked and, possibly, their front dew claws removed following the WVCA standards.

Want a Puppy?

The first thing for you to know is that we screen our puppy buyers, and everyone will get a puppy contract. We want to make sure our buyers understand all that comes with getting a WHV. If you are interested in a WHV for showing, hunting, agility, dock diving, or just as an awesome family dog, we have two documents for you. The first document has more information for you to read about our breeding and specifics on puppies, litters, and our process and contract specifics. Look for logistics on getting your puppy here as well. The second document is our Perspective Puppy Questionnaire. This helps us get a better idea of who you are and why you want a WHV. Filling out the questionnaire is a great first step. We would still like to have phone or email conversations to follow up on the questionnaire. We just want to make sure our puppies go to great homes. Feel free to contact us with any questions!

Puppies: Litters Planned for 2024

Litters Planned for 2024: Please reach out to be added to our list for our planned late 2024 litters. Our plan is to breed Zuri this late summer, Kolibri this fall, and Gemenc later in 2024/2025. To be considered for one of these litters, please reach out to us and fill out a questionnaire.

PUPPIES: BORN FEB 24TH, 2024

Gemenc (CH Dolgos-Nimrod Gemenc VA VAV CAC RES-CAC TSZ) was successfully bred to Delceg (CH HCH, HJCH Zoldmali Delceg NAVHDA UT3). Gemenc is an incredibly sweet and obedient hunting girl who is an an attentive and special mother. Delceg is one of our most obedient hunters

who is a high performer. Not only is he fantastic in the field, but he is calm, focused, and loving in the home.

Gemenc had 6 lovely puppies, 5 girls and 1 boy. All in this litter is reserved.

PUPPIES: BORN Aug 23rd, 2023

Kolibri was successfully bred to Jarvis (GCH Rubicon Zuniga’s Vision ATT, RAT1, RATN, RATO, RATS, DN,DS, BCAT, DCAT, FDC, ORT, CGC, TKN, NW1, NW2). Jarvis is an incredibly accomplished working dog that has the highest awarded scent titles in the US for a wirehaired vizsla. He is an attentive but laid back dog. Koli has an intense love for the field and hunting. She is highly driven but affectionate and calm in the house.

Koli had 8 puppies, 6 boys and 2 girls. We are very pleased to keep a female from this breeding to see if she will develop into a wirehaired that would have a place in our breeding program.

PUPPIES: BORN JUNE 7th, 2023

Quinn was successfully bred to Zolna. Quinn is the daughter of Quill and Delceg. We were very excited to see what crossing Delceg and Zolna would produce. Quinn is an energetic, loyal (mainly) duck hunting dog. With Zolna and Quinn both have high field drive, we were excited for this pairing and to see what the offspring will develop into. Quinn had 9 puppies: 3 boys and 6 girls.

PUPPIES: BORN FEB 28TH, 2023

Quill was successfully bred for her last litter to Zolna. Quill has been an amazing dog and mother to her puppies during her time. This was a special litter to us and are so happy with the homes that got Quil's last puppies. She is such an affectionate couch potato that has medium drive in the field. Zolna is a goofy but intense field dog. Quill had 6 puppies, 5 boys and 1 girl.

PUPPIES: BORN FEB 9TH, 2023

Odessa was successfully bred for her last litter to Zolna. Odessa's intuitive and sensitive nature with a drive to please us in the field was a great match with Zolna's love of life, goofy personality, and intense drive in the field. Odessa had 10 puppies delivered via C-section, 7 boys and 3 girls.

PUPPIES: BORN JULY 8TH/9TH, 2022

Odessa was successfully bred with Jarod (Fr CH CHFGT Zoldmali Profi). Jarod was bred and born in Hungary and then went to France to be a multiple-winning field trial champion and French show champion. He is very sweet and has a persistently happy attitude. He is driven and runs big when hunting in the field.

Odessa had six puppies, four girls and two boys, in a long, overnight whelping. She had a bit of a harder time, but Odessa and her pups are all healthy and adorable.

PUPPIES: BORN JULY 6TH, 2022

Kolibri was successfully bred with Jarod (Fr CH CHFGT Zoldmali Profi). Jarod was bred and born in Hungary and then went to France to be a multiple-winning field trial champion and French show champion. He is very sweet and has a persistently happy attitude. He is driven and runs big when hunting in the field.

Kolibri had nine beautiful puppies. All Boys!! She had an easy whelping over 5 hours and is a very attentive mother.

PUPPIES: BORN MAY 7TH, 2022

Quill was successfully bred with Argo (Sudden Valley's Spitfire JH NAVHDA NA Pz1). Argo is a spirited hunting dog with a beautiful structure and a diverse pedigree.

She had four boys and three girls. She is the most attentive and sweet mom. All puppies are spoken for.
